2. My least favorite musical
First off, everyone lists the show they hate the most, and well, that’s not a favorite at all then, is it? So, to answer this appropriately… my least FAVORITE would have to be The Book of Mormon. To be clear, I like this show but it’s the one I like the least.

4. The first show I saw
I’m going to go with live theatrical experience[s]. A high school production of Kiss Me Kate, starring my sister (Angel). A community theatre production of Urinetown in South Carolina. The first musical led by a legit paid cast was I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. (Can’t recall if it was a tour or not.) The first National Tour I saw was Wicked. And the first show I saw on Broadway was Next to Normal.

6. A role I’ve played
Logainne Schwartzandgrubinerre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at a local community theatre.

8. How I discovered my love for theatre
You know, it wasn’t one specific thing - it was a gradual interest. I loved watching movie musicals (the few I saw) when I was younger, Angel would play Phantom a lot in her room, I joined the choir in high school just so I could sing “Seasons of Love” (I looked into Rent a little after that but never listened to the full cast recording), and then someone sent me the Wicked cast recording when we were chatting about BAM (Bianca/Maggie on All My Children), and then I continued to acquire other shows. It wasn’t long before I found Sondheim and consequently stopped listening to anything else for a while. lol And truly, I don’t think I would have kept up with musical theatre had it not been for Sondheim’s shows.

10. A theatre superstition I believe in
“Break a leg!” instead of “Good luck!” My aunt said the latter one time and I groaned “UGGGGH!” as I walked out the front door.
